This MMI module is intended for compatible Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio vehicles manufactured from 2016 to 2019.
Before ordering, compare the screen, dashboard layout and multimedia controls in your vehicle with the product images.
When the vehicle supports original Bluetooth audio streaming and the module includes the required setting, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto audio can be transmitted through the factory Bluetooth channel instead of AUX.
This can maintain better sound quality and allows the original Bluetooth phone function to remain in use.
The module can also connect sound through the vehicle’s AUX input. Screen mirroring, USB playback and other built-in media sources may require the Bluetooth-channel option to be switched off.
The interface and supported applications are operated using the vehicle’s original central controller, steering-wheel buttons and phone.
Press and hold the MENU button to switch from the original multimedia system to the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interface.
The factory menu remains available, allowing you to return to the original system whenever required.
Compatible iPhone devices can share their screen through AirPlay, while supported Android devices use the module’s compatible screen-sharing function.
The USB interface can also play supported audio and video files from a USB flash drive.
The module retains support for the vehicle’s original camera display and provides inputs for compatible aftermarket parking cameras.
This product is not a replacement multimedia screen. It is an intelligent interface module that adds Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, screen sharing, USB media and optional camera inputs to the original vehicle display.
Because the factory screen remains in place, the interior retains its original appearance and the vehicle’s standard multimedia system remains accessible.
The supplied wiring connects to the original vehicle connectors, so the factory wiring does not need to be cut or soldered and multimedia-system programming is normally not required.
Installation still requires removal of interior trim and access to the original multimedia system. Appropriate automotive-electronics experience, tools and installation time are required.
