Add wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to a compatible Mercedes while retaining the original multimedia screen, factory controls, vehicle menu and original interior appearance.
This MR12Volt interface uses the vehicle’s MOST fiber-optic network for digital audio transmission instead of a conventional analogue AUX connection. It is especially well suited to vehicles where maintaining the original sound quality is a priority.
Navigation, music, calls, messages and supported applications appear on the original display and are controlled with the factory rotary knob, steering-wheel buttons and connected phone.
The module combines modern wireless phone integration with MOST fiber-optic sound, original parking functions and familiar Mercedes controls.
Connect a compatible iPhone or Android phone wirelessly through Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth. A USB connection is also available when a wired connection or media playback is preferred.

The module connects to the Mercedes MOST optical network for audio transmission. This avoids the conventional analogue AUX connection used by many standard retrofit interfaces.
The optical connection is particularly valuable in cars equipped with premium factory sound systems such as Harman/Kardon or Burmester, where preserving the original audio path matters.
The integrated 15-band DSP equalizer also allows the sound profile to be adjusted to suit the vehicle and personal listening preferences.
The vehicle must have the original Mercedes NTG 4.5 or NTG 4.7 multimedia system. Model year alone does not guarantee compatibility, so the original screen and menu should be checked before ordering.
Navigate the interface using the original rotary controller, steering-wheel buttons and connected phone. The layout is designed to preserve the familiar Mercedes driving experience.
The factory multimedia menu can be reopened whenever required, so original vehicle settings and media functions remain accessible.
The interface uses the TV source in the original NTG menu. When TV is not already available, it must be activated after the CarPlay module has been installed.
Open the original multimedia source menu and check whether the TV option is displayed.
After installing the module, press and hold the Return and C buttons together for approximately eight seconds to activate the TV function.
When the display switches between the original Mercedes picture and the CarPlay interface, the audio channel switches with it.
For radio while using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, use a compatible online radio application such as TuneIn.
Compatible Apple and Android phones can connect wirelessly through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. USB connection is also available.
Some phone and software combinations may require the USB connection, including certain Huawei phones using EMUI 10.
The module retains the original Mercedes parking display and provides inputs for additional camera equipment when required.
