Audio is integrated into the original Porsche system through the MOST fibre-optic network rather than the analogue AUX input. This is the key difference between this premium version and simpler PCM retrofit modules.
The module uses the existing Porsche PCM display instead of replacing it with an aftermarket screen. The original dashboard, screen housing and control layout remain unchanged.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto appear directly on the factory display, while the original PCM menu can be reopened whenever vehicle settings, radio or factory multimedia functions are needed.
The interface is controlled through the original PCM rotary dial, dashboard buttons, steering-wheel controls or connected phone.
Select the module version that matches the original Porsche PCM system. PCM 3.0 and PCM 3.1 use different internal add-on boards.
This integration fits Porsche PCM 3.0 and PCM 3.1 only. Many vehicles use a visually similar CDR unit, but CDR is not compatible. Use the navigation function and button layout as the first check, then confirm the precise PCM version in the system-information menu.

Start the vehicle and wait for PCM to load. Press the Source and Info buttons simultaneously to open the system-information screen.
Open Info, choose Option, and then select System Version to view the PCM software information.
A dedicated add-on board must be installed inside the Porsche PCM unit. The external harness uses original connectors, but the internal board installation requires PCM disassembly and careful work with internal cables.
Professional installation is strongly recommended.Use an installer experienced with factory multimedia electronics, fibre-optic MOST systems and internal head-unit modifications.
When the screen switches from the original PCM menu to CarPlay or Android Auto, the audio channel switches with it.
For radio listening inside CarPlay or Android Auto, use an online radio application such as TuneIn.
Operate CarPlay and Android Auto through the original PCM rotary dial, dashboard buttons, steering-wheel controls or connected phone.
The original Porsche PCM menu remains available whenever vehicle settings, FM radio or factory multimedia functions are required.
Selecting reverse gear automatically returns the display to the original rear camera or parking-sensor information.
