Audi Apple CarPlay / Android Auto allows to use most popular applications from your phone to your car screen. Use Google Maps, Spotify, Waze, Apple music and more. With this device your phone will be in the pocket but most application you will see on the screen while driving.
The module has the functionality to use your car’s original Bluetooth channel, this way maintaining good sound quality compared to the AUX audio channel. It is also possible to use your car’s original Bluetooth phone function via Apple Carplay / Android Auto.

Add wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to a compatible Audi without replacing the original multimedia screen or changing the factory dashboard appearance.
This interface is designed for supported Audi MMI 3G Basic, 3G High and 3G Plus systems. It works alongside the original multimedia system and displays smartphone functions through the factory colour screen.
Navigation, music, calls, messages and supported smartphone apps appear on the original display, while the factory Audi menu, MMI controller, steering-wheel controls, parking sensors and compatible camera functions remain available.

Connect a compatible phone wirelessly through Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi or use the USB connection when a wired connection is preferred.

Apple Maps
Apple Maps brings turn-by-turn navigation to Apple CarPlay with destination search, traffic-aware routing and spoken guidance through Siri. Routes and directions are displayed on the original Audi multimedia screen.
Google Maps
Google Maps for Apple CarPlay provides familiar route planning, live navigation and destination search from an iPhone. Drivers can follow directions on the Audi screen and use voice commands to search without handling the phone.
Waze
Waze on Apple CarPlay combines navigation with community-reported traffic conditions, road hazards and route updates. It is useful for drivers who want real-time information while travelling through busy urban areas or longer routes.
TomTom GO
TomTom GO offers clear turn-by-turn guidance, route planning and traffic-based navigation through Apple CarPlay. The app is designed for drivers who prefer TomTom maps and a dedicated navigation experience on the vehicle display.
Apple Music

TIDAL brings its music catalogue, playlists and personalised recommendations to Apple CarPlay. It is suitable for drivers who already use TIDAL and want convenient access through the original Audi multimedia screen.
TuneIn Radio

Apple Podcasts

Audible
Audible gives access to audiobooks and spoken-word content through Apple CarPlay. Drivers can continue a book, pause playback and move between chapters using the vehicle controls or Siri.
The Apple CarPlay Phone app allows hands-free calling through the vehicle interface. Drivers can access recent calls, contacts and voicemail, or ask Siri to call a person without touching the phone.
Messages in Apple CarPlay supports voice-based reading and sending of compatible messages through Siri. The system is designed to minimise the need to look at or operate the iPhone while driving.
WhatsApp
WhatsApp can provide supported voice calling and messaging functions through Apple CarPlay. Siri can read incoming messages aloud and help compose replies while the phone remains safely stored.

The Android Auto Phone app supports hands-free calls, recent-call access and contact search through the car interface. Google voice control can place calls while the phone stays out of the driver’s hands.
Android Auto messaging functions can read compatible incoming messages aloud and help create replies by voice. This keeps communication available while reducing interaction with the phone screen.
WhatsApp
WhatsApp provides compatible voice calling and messaging features through Android Auto. Incoming messages can be read aloud, and replies can be created using Google voice control.
Telegram
Telegram can provide supported messaging functions through Android Auto, including spoken notifications and voice replies. Availability depends on the phone, app version and Android Auto support.
The kit contains the interface module and the vehicle-specific connections required for installation in a compatible Audi MMI 3G system.
The module uses the original Audi colour display instead of replacing it with an aftermarket screen. The dashboard, original screen and MMI controls remain in place.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto appear directly on the factory display, while the original Audi MMI menu can be reopened whenever radio, vehicle settings or factory multimedia functions are needed.
The result is a discreet upgrade for compatible Audi A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, Q3, Q5 and Q7 models equipped with an MMI 3G system.
Compatibility depends on the original multimedia system as well as the vehicle model and year. The car must have a colour screen, MEDIA button and a supported MMI 3G software code.
Open the multimedia Version information screen and compare the software code with the reference image. Supported systems use codes beginning with BNav, HNav or HN+. MMI 2G and basic non-navigation radios are not compatible.
Supported examples: BNav for MMI 3G Basic, HNav for MMI 3G High and HN+ for MMI 3G Plus. Crossed-out systems require a different product.

Where supported, the interface can use the vehicle’s original Bluetooth audio channel. This can provide better sound quality than a basic analogue AUX connection and allows the original Audi Bluetooth phone function to remain available.
Music and navigation sound can be routed through the factory Audi Bluetooth media channel where supported.
The original hands-free telephone function can remain active while CarPlay or Android Auto is in use.
If the Bluetooth-audio option is not used, select AUX in the original Audi system to hear the interface.
Vehicles without an AUX socket may require an additional Audi AMI-to-AUX cable.
The smartphone interface appears on the original Audi display, while the internal menu provides camera, audio, mirroring and connection settings.

Operate the interface through the original MMI rotary controller, supported steering-wheel buttons or the connected phone.
The original Audi menu remains available whenever radio, vehicle settings or factory multimedia functions are required.
Selecting reverse gear automatically returns the display to the original rear camera or parking-sensor information.
A compatible aftermarket rear-view or front-view camera can also be connected to the interface.
A matching Audi model and year do not guarantee compatibility. The Version information screen must show a supported MMI 3G code.
Audi MMI 2G, MMI RMC, MIB and basic non-navigation radios require different products.
