Audi Apple CarPlay / Android Auto allows to use most popular applications from your phone to your car screen. Use Google Maps, Spotify, Waze, Apple music and more. With this device your phone will be in the pocket but most application you will see on the screen while driving.
The module has the functionality to use your car’s original Bluetooth channel, this way maintaining good sound quality compared to the AUX audio channel. It is also possible to use your car’s original Bluetooth phone function via Apple Carplay / Android Auto.

Add wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to a compatible Audi A6, A7 or Q3 without replacing the original colour multimedia screen or changing the factory dashboard appearance.
This interface is designed specifically for vehicles with the Audi MMI RMC multimedia system. It works alongside the original system and displays smartphone functions through the factory screen.
Navigation, music, calls, messages and supported smartphone apps appear on the original display, while the factory Audi menu, MMI controller, steering-wheel controls, parking sensors and compatible camera functions remain available.

Apple Maps
Apple Maps brings turn-by-turn navigation to Apple CarPlay with destination search, traffic-aware routing and spoken guidance through Siri. Routes and directions are displayed on the original Audi multimedia screen.
Google Maps
Google Maps for Apple CarPlay provides familiar route planning, live navigation and destination search from an iPhone. Drivers can follow directions on the Audi screen and use voice commands to search without handling the phone.
Waze
Waze on Apple CarPlay combines navigation with community-reported traffic conditions, road hazards and route updates. It is useful for drivers who want real-time information while travelling through busy urban areas or longer routes.
TomTom GO

WhatsApp provides compatible voice calling and messaging features through Android Auto. Incoming messages can be read aloud, and replies can be created using Google voice control.
Telegram
Telegram can provide supported messaging functions through Android Auto, including spoken notifications and voice replies. Availability depends on the phone, app version and Android Auto support.
The kit includes the interface module and the principal connections required for installation in a compatible Audi MMI RMC vehicle.
The module uses the original Audi colour display instead of replacing it with an aftermarket screen. The dashboard, pop-up display and original control panel remain in place.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto appear directly on the factory screen, while the original Audi MMI menu can be reopened whenever radio or vehicle functions are needed.
The result is a discreet upgrade for compatible Audi A6, A7 and Q3 models equipped with the MMI RMC system.
Compatibility depends on the original multimedia system as well as the vehicle model and year. The car must have a colour multimedia screen, a MEDIA button and the Audi MMI RMC software code.

Open the multimedia version-information screen and check the software code. The code must begin with RMC, for example RMC_EU_P12321. The vehicle must also have a colour screen and a MEDIA button.
The software version must begin with RMC on the version-information screen.
The vehicle must have the original colour display shown in the supported dashboard layouts.
The original control panel must include a MEDIA button used for multimedia functions.
A dashboard photo and the version-information screen help confirm the correct system.
Where supported, the interface can use the vehicle’s original Bluetooth audio channel. This can provide better sound quality than a basic analogue AUX connection and allows the original Audi Bluetooth phone function to remain available.
Music and navigation sound can be routed through the factory Audi Bluetooth media channel where supported.
The original hands-free telephone function can remain active while CarPlay or Android Auto is in use.
If the Bluetooth-audio option is not used, select AUX in the original Audi system to hear the interface.
Vehicles without an AUX socket may require an additional Audi AMI-to-AUX cable.
The smartphone interface appears on the original Audi screen, while the internal menu provides camera, sound, mirroring and connection settings.

An aftermarket rear-view or front-view camera can also be connected to the interface.
A matching Audi model and year do not guarantee compatibility. The multimedia version-information screen must show an RMC software code.
Audi MMI 3G, MMI 3G Plus and MIB systems require different integration modules.
Sound can use the original Bluetooth channel where supported or the original AUX input.
A vehicle with Audi AMI but no AUX socket may require an additional AMI-to-AUX adapter.
The original parking display remains available, and the interface provides connections and settings for compatible aftermarket cameras.
