Compatibility

Choose the correct version for your BMW

This screen is available for cars with CCC, CIC and for BMW 1 Series vehicles that were not equipped with an original display.

CCC

BMW CCC 2004–2008

For compatible BMW 1 Series vehicles equipped with the CCC multimedia system.

CIC

BMW CIC 2008–2014

For compatible BMW 1 Series vehicles equipped with the CIC multimedia system.

No original screen

BMW without factory display

For vehicles without the original screen. Installation requires preparing the dashboard opening for the new display.

Before ordering, confirm your original system.
If you are unsure which version is required, send us the vehicle year and clear photos of the dashboard, original radio and centre console.

Original BMW functions

Keep the factory BMW system on CCC and CIC vehicles

On cars equipped with an original BMW screen, the replacement display works alongside the factory multimedia system and retains supported OEM functions.

Original BMW menu

Factory BMW multimedia functions remain accessible through the new display.

iDrive controller

The original iDrive controller remains available for factory BMW menus and supported functions.

OEM equipment

Compatible steering-wheel buttons, parking sensors and original front or rear cameras remain supported.

Apple CarPlay & Android Auto

Wireless smartphone integration

Connect an iPhone or Android phone and use navigation, music, calls, messages and compatible apps directly from the 10.25 inch touchscreen.

Apple CarPlay

Use Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, Spotify, Apple Music, calls, messages and Siri.

Android Auto

Wireless Android Auto is supported on compatible phones with Android 11 or newer. Older compatible Android versions may require a wired connection.

Important: this is a Linux-based CarPlay / Android Auto screen, not an Android OS multimedia unit. Android apps cannot be installed directly on the screen, and standalone YouTube / Netflix playback is not available. AirPlay and generic screen mirroring are not supported.

Display

10.25 inch IPS touchscreen with 1280 × 480 resolution

The widescreen display modernises the BMW 1 Series dashboard and adds touch control for CarPlay and Android Auto.

10.25 inchLarge vehicle-specific widescreen format.

IPS panelWide viewing angles and clear image reproduction.

1280 × 480High-resolution widescreen interface.

BMW 1 Series navigation display on 10.25 inch screen

Wide navigation view. The 10.25 inch display format gives more visual space for navigation and CarPlay content while preserving a clean factory-style look.

Cars without the original screen: the new display can be operated by touchscreen, so an iDrive knob is not required. An additional knob is available if you prefer a more original-style control method.

Audio & connectivity

Wireless connection with sound routed through BMW AUX

CarPlay and Android Auto audio is transferred to the original vehicle sound system through the BMW AUX input.

Bluetooth

Built-in Bluetooth supports wireless smartphone connectivity.

Wi-Fi

Built-in Wi-Fi is used for wireless CarPlay / Android Auto communication.

AUX required

The vehicle must have a working AUX function because multimedia audio is routed through the AUX input.

Check AUX before ordering.
The original BMW AUX function must be available and working for CarPlay / Android Auto sound output.

Parking cameras

Original and aftermarket camera support

The screen retains compatible original BMW cameras and supports additional front, rear or 360-degree camera systems.

Original cameras

Compatible factory BMW front and rear camera functions remain available.

Aftermarket cameras

Compatible front and rear parking cameras can be added.

360° systems

Compatible aftermarket 360-degree camera systems are also supported.

Installation

Plug & Play for CCC / CIC — no coding required

On vehicles with the original BMW screen, the replacement display connects using vehicle-specific wiring without coding. Cars without the original display require dashboard preparation for the new screen.

Plug & Play

Power and multimedia connection cables are included with the screen.

1 × USB

One USB connection is included for compatible wired functions and accessories.

Built-in microphone

The display includes a built-in microphone for supported calling functions.
