The module uses the existing Toyota multimedia display instead of replacing it with a visibly aftermarket unit. The original screen, dashboard layout and surrounding controls remain in place.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto appear directly on the factory screen, while the original Toyota menu can be reopened whenever vehicle settings or factory media functions are required.
