This Apple CarPlay and Android Auto MMI product for Jaguar XF, XFR, XK and XKR is the only solution of its type that uses the vehicle’s MOST fibre-optic connection for audio transmission, helping to retain the original sound quality of the car’s audio system.
The system integrates with the original Jaguar multimedia display without replacing the factory screen or changing the authentic appearance of the interior.
The interface is controlled through the original dial, knobs, buttons, touchscreen and steering-wheel controls. The original parking system, rear-view camera and parking-sensor display remain available.
When reverse gear is selected, the system automatically switches to the original camera or parking-sensor display. The wiring connects to the original vehicle connectors, so no cutting or soldering is required.
Audio is connected through the vehicle’s MOST fibre-optic cable rather than an analogue AUX connection, preventing the loss of sound quality normally associated with an AUX-based integration.
FM radio and Apple CarPlay or Android Auto audio cannot be used at the same time. When the displayed system is changed, the corresponding audio channel also switches automatically.
For radio listening while using CarPlay or Android Auto, we recommend an online radio application such as TuneIn.
A dedicated add-on board must be fitted inside the Jaguar XF or XK multimedia unit. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will not operate without this internal board.
The installation is not simple, so professional installation by Carplay.lt or another experienced automotive electronics specialist is strongly recommended.

The Jaguar must have the original USB module installed for the CarPlay and Android Auto integration to operate.
This Apple CarPlay and Android Auto MOST module replaces the function of the original USB module, so check that the factory USB unit is present before placing your order.
If your Jaguar was manufactured in 2009 or earlier, we recommend opening the multimedia screen and checking the video cable before ordering.
The multimedia screen must have the compatible 40-pin cable. Vehicles fitted with the earlier 30-pin connection are not compatible with this version.
Wireless Apple CarPlay works with supported Apple iPhone models using iOS 10 or newer.
Wireless Android Auto works with most compatible Android devices running Android 10 or newer.
Older supported Android devices must be connected with a USB cable.
