Add wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to the original 8-inch Ford SYNC 2 screen without replacing the factory multimedia system or changing the dashboard appearance.
Navigation, music, calls, messages and compatible apps appear directly on the original display. The module also supports Screen Mirroring, USB media playback and optional front, rear or 360-degree camera connections.
Designed for compatible Ford Fiesta, C-Max, Focus, Taurus, Escape and Explorer vehicles equipped with the factory 8-inch SYNC 2 touchscreen. The original SYNC 2 menu and vehicle functions remain available.
The vehicle must have the original 8-inch SYNC 2 touchscreen. Model and year help identify potential compatibility, but the factory screen and menu must match the SYNC 2 examples before ordering.
Connect a compatible phone wirelessly through Bluetooth and Wi-Fi or use the module’s USB connection when a wired connection is preferred.
Use Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, Spotify, Apple Music, calls, messages and Siri through the original Ford display.

Apple Maps
Apple Maps brings turn-by-turn navigation to Apple CarPlay with destination search, traffic-aware routing and spoken guidance through Siri. Routes and directions are displayed on the original Ford multimedia screen.
Google Maps
Google Maps for Apple CarPlay provides familiar route planning, live navigation and destination search from an iPhone. Drivers can follow directions on the Ford screen and use voice commands to search without handling the phone.
Waze

Operate the module menu through the original touchscreen, supported steering-wheel controls, vehicle buttons or connected phone.
Long-press the MENU button to open the module menu. Return to the original SYNC 2 system whenever factory functions are required.
Selecting reverse gear automatically opens the factory rear-camera or parking-sensor display.
After reversing, the system returns to the previously displayed menu.
This module is not intended for SYNC 3 or the smaller non-8-inch Ford radio.
Send a complete dashboard and main-menu photograph if compatibility is uncertain.
Wireless Apple CarPlay requires a compatible iPhone. Wireless Android Auto generally requires Android 11 or a supported Google or Samsung phone with Android 10.
Older Android phones may require a wired USB connection. Some Huawei phones without Google services are not compatible.
