Audi Carplay MMi uses the original Audi MMi system display, so the interior appearance of the car will remain unchanged.
Both Android and Apple phones connect to the device via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so there’s no need for a USB cable.
Audi Carplay MMi The device menu is controlled using the system’s original controls – dial, buttons and switches on the steering wheel – to preserve the original Audi driving experience.
Audi Carplay is fully integrated with the original parking systems – the unit automatically switches to the rear view camera or parking sensor when reversing and disconnects when you switch to drive.
Audi Carplay allows you to connect front and rear cameras, even if the car did not previously have this function.
The Audi Carplay wiring harness connects to the original connectors, eliminating the need to cut and solder wires. The unit is fully ready to use and does not require any additional programming to the car.

Important: You will not be able to listen to FM radio and use Apple Carplay or Android Auto at the same time, as the audio channel is automatically switched when the system is activated. With Carplay or Android Auto, you can listen to the radio online via the Tune-in app.
Wireless Android Auto works with Android 10 operation system and above.
Wireless Apple Carplay works with iOS 10 operation system and above.
